Mesotherapy for facial skin rejuvenation

Mesotherapy “imports” through injection vitamins, minerals and amino-acids directly into the skin in order to nourish and restore it. It induces the production of collagen and elastane and stimulates the metabolism. With the advancement of age, blood circulation slows and the ability of the body to rid itself of toxins is reduced. This is why the skin relaxes and forms wrinkles.

After mesotherapy procedures, patients find their skin fresher, tighter and more elastic. Mesotherapy can be performed as a supplement or alternative to other rejuvenating procedures such as botox, face lifting, chemical peeling, etc.

Mesotherapy side effects

Unlike liposuction which statistically is responsible for 100 deaths per year, mesotherapy is a completely safe procedure. The possible side effects are temporary bruising of the skin, redness, itching and burning sensations in the treated areas, light pains which last a few days and a minimal risk of infection from the injection. Most patients can return to work the day after the procedure.

Despite the growing popularity of mesotherapy, patients do not always achieve the promised results. Sometimes the blame can be found with the patients themselves, because they live a lazy and unhealthy life and rely on mesotherapy alone to make them beautiful. At other times the practitioners do not have sufficient qualifications. This is why you should entrust yourself only to reputable specialists.
